Some members of the API work only on the desktop chart. They are marked with the [DesktopOnly] attribute. An indicator can use them: it compiles and runs on your chart as usual. The consequence is for the whole package: when any indicator of a package uses a desktop only member, the package is calculated on the desktop, never on the server. Calling it, reading it, overriding it or implementing it all count as using it.

Trades of the history

One case is a value and not a member:
The server calculates the history from the bars and does not replay the trades. An indicator which asks for the trades of the history is treated as a desktop one. Use CallHandler.RT and take the history from the totals of the bars (VolTotList, volume by price).

Mixing indicators

The rule applies to the package, not to the single indicator. Keep the desktop only indicators in a separate dll when you want the others to be calculated on the server.
